  • West Africa, Jun – Aug 2025: Sub-contracted to work on a study for MRC Unit The Gambia at LSHTM reviewing the feasibility of establishing a Pan African Data Sharing Platform.
  • Africa, Apr – May 2025: Developed a trial methodology using large language models to build a comprehensive database of public information systems in Africa.
  • Nepal, Nov 2024 – Feb 2025: Sub-contracted by YoungInnovations Pvt Ltd for an assessment of the Provincial Planning Data Ecosystem. Advised on data landscaping methodologies and data maturity model development.

  • Technical lead on local government data modelling and ecosystem development programmes in Uganda and Kenya.

After one year of university, was conscripted into the apartheid army, from which I deserted — testifying to the United Nations on its atrocities before joining the African National Congress. Full-time political commitments precluded completing formal studies. Entire career spent in intellectually demanding positions of post-graduate equivalence.
